(III) EARLY RECURRENT NASOPHARYNGEAL

CARCINOMA

TORS nasopharyngectomy can be

offered for selected patients with

early recurrent tumours in the

nasopharynx.

TORS can also be combined with

endo-nasal endoscopic surgery for

resection of selected tumours.

Such minimally-invasive approaches

reduces morbidity, functional and rT1 nasopharyngeal carcinoma

cosmetic deficit associated with

conventional open approaches.
