Transplant Renal Artery Stenosis
A 66-year old lady had a renal transplant in 2003. The transplant renal artery developed a
stenosis distally just before the renal artery bifurcation. Balloon angioplasty was performed
more than 10 years ago. She developed refractory hypertension recently and an MRA
showed recurrent renal transplant artery stenosis at the same site.
