Critical Lower Limb Ischemia
71 year old male presented with tissue loss of his second toe of the left foot.
Angiogram revealed stenosis of previous mid SFA supera stent and below knee
popliteal artery stenosis for which percutaneous transluminal angioplasty and
was performed with good radiological results. At the time an amputation of the
second toe was performed.
Worsening of sepsis extending into plantar aspect of the foot required a forefoot
amputation.
