A malignant tumour of mesenchymal cells
resembling fat cells.
Usually presents as a rapidly enlarging mass
which may be associated with pain
Lesions can spread haematogenously, but
well-differentiated lesions are unlikely to
metastasize.
Excision with adequate resection margins
followed by adjuvant treatment
