Infantile Hemangioma
It is the most common benign tumour of infancy.
It is more frequent in premature low-birth-weight
infants. Female to male ratio is 3:1. Majority
occurs in the head and neck region (60%).
Proliferative phase: Evolution until age 0 – 12
months
Involuting phase: Last 12 months to 7-10years
Involuted phase: Involution complete at age >10
years
