Angiosarcoma
It is an uncommon malignant vascular tumour
arising from endothelial lining of blood vessels.
It is an aggressive tumour and tends to recur
locally. It has a high rate of lymph node and
systemic metastases.
It presents as a bruise-like skin lesion. The
standard treatment is wide local excision
followed by adjuvant radiotherapy.
An 80 year-old man presented with
multiple ulcerative lesions on his scalp,
surrounded by patchy bruise-like lesions.
Biopsy confirmed angiosarcoma
